  • Sunday, Oct. 11 from 11-8 PM **PICNIC DAY** 

BOOTH UPDATE:  We no longer have The Toy Stand at the Parish Picnic.

If you wish to donate toys, please consider donating to the Christmas Shop through St. Vincent de Paul.

**DESSERTS NEEDED**

Our Dining Room and Carry-Out Meals need lots of delicious homemade desserts! We’re asking each family to donate one home-baked or homemade dessert. Think FALL desserts! Here are some ideas:

  • Apple Crisp or Fruit Pies
  • Carrot Cake - Pumpkin Cake
  • Brownies - Cupcakes - Muffins
  • Texas Sheet Cake - Gooey Butter Cake
  • Chocolate Chip - Oatmeal Cookies- Snickerdoodles
  • Rice Krispie Treats
  • Cinnamon Rolls
  • Fall-themed cookies
  • Gluten-free or dairy-free desserts are especially appreciated!

   x Please NO cream pies or refrigerated desserts. 


Please bring your baked goods to the cafeteria:

  • Friday: 6:00–8:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00–10:00 AM
  • Sunday: 8:00 AM–Noon

Thank you for helping us fill our dining room and carry-out tables with lots of delicious homemade treats! 

The Picnic is a great service hour opportunity

and we encourage students 4th grade and up to help out!

MORE ABOUT OUR PICNIC:

Sacred Heart's Annual Parish Picnic brings parishioners and the surrounding community together for a day of food, live entertainment, and fun activities.  The Picnic is both a major fundraiser for the church and school and an opportunity for fellowship, service, and community building.


  • Food is available for dine-in or carry-out and typically includes traditional favorites like fried chicken and kettle beef, assorted side dishes, and your choice from a huge variety of tasty desserts.


  • The event also features games, raffles, music, and numerous booths where you have the opportunity to visit with representatives of many of our groups and ministries to learn more about their work, and where you can purchase, among other things, home-grown produce, baked goods, and handmade items. There is something for everyone and all are welcome!
