Sacred Heart Dress Code - 2011 - 2012
Girls - Grades K - 4
Uniform: Specifics:
Plaid jumper or skort Uniform plaid jumper must be worn on All School Mass days.  A plaid jumper is required for K-3rd.  Gr. 4 can wear jumper or/skort to Mass.
Navy pant, shorts or capris Uniform pants,capris or corduroys. (No cargo pants, knit pants, leggings, jeans, skinny leg or/ flares; no decorative accessories such as silver buttons, etc.)  Shorts should not measure more than 3-4 inches above bend in the knee.  (No cargo or jeans shorts.) No pants under jumpers.
Navy or plaid skort Navy or plaid skort - zippers and buttons should be navy. (No decorative accessories as stated above).  Skort should not measure more than 3-4 inches above bend in the knee.
White top White blouse, turtleneck, long or short-sleeved polo, or oxford shirt. (No trim or logo).  The top is to be tucked in at all times.
Sweatshirts: Light (heather) gray sweatshirts - with/without school logo.  Gray hoodie w/logo from LandsEnd or/ Gray and Red hoodie from our Athletic Dept.
Sweaters: Navy blue cardigan, pull-over V-neck, or vest.
Socks: Plain - Navy blue, black, or white socks - crew socks, bobby socks, knee socks.  Socks must cover the ankle.  White or navy tights.  No nylons or leggings.  Socks can be purchased through school with our logo.
Belts: Navy blue, brown, or black.  Must be worn with all shorts or pants.
Jewelry: Wrist watches, small button-type earrings, and small religious medal or cross necklaces may be worn.
Makeup: No makeup or nail polish of any kind.  No tattoos.
Shoes: Tennis or hard sole shoes that do not make black marks.  (No clogs, slides, sandals, or high soled/heeled shoes).  Must wear tennis shoes on PE days.
Hair Accessories: Must be school colors and not excessive or distracting.  (No hats or caps).
Hair must be out of the eyes.
Non-Uniform Days: Appropriate clothing is to be worn.  Shorts that are walking short length and properly-fitted clothes are acceptable.  (No inappropriate writing or pictures on clothing). No sleeveless shirts.  Tennis shoes or hard sole shoes must be worn - no sandals or flip-flops.
Field Trips or 1st Tuesday of the Month: Red Sacred Heart or uniform shirts only.  Uniform pants or shorts.

Gym shorts or sweatpants in navy or black with school logo, can be worn for P.E..  Please check LandsEnd for ordering.  Red Sacred Heart t-shirt to be worn with shorts/sweatpants.
